Vermont Youth Conservation Corps (VYCC) believes young people change the world. We are looking for new 2019 Crew Leaders, over 20 years of age, who are excited to make a difference, spend time outside and work on a small team. Crew Leaders are excited and passionate about leading young people to complete conservation and farm projects, while helping them grow and enhance job and leadership skills. Over 250 young people will get paid this summer and fall to be part of VYCCs award winning Conservation and Farm programs. There are a variety of short or long-term experiences on our crews including: AmeriCorps service positions, camping crews, day crews, internships, and on-going education.
American Sign Language: We are seeking experienced leadersto spend a season guiding youth and young adults who are Deaf or hard-of-hearing in Vermont on our summer ASL spike crew. Live and work with Deaf andhard of hearingyouth to complete conservation projects and teach camping, living, work, and communication skills. ASL Crew Leader positions require ASL fluency, are three months long and start May 22 and end August 19. This fun and challenging leadership opportunity begins with a paid residential training program on VYCCs 400-acre campus in Richmond, VT. Help us expand our Award-Winning ASL Program!
Compensation : $550/week with room and board.
