We are currently recruiting for a Chief Medical & Quality Officer. This is a senior leadership position providing direction and oversight of all medical staff, as well as all quality priorities. The CMQO is responsible for the coordination, recruitment, retention, development, management and supervision of all medical/provider personnel on the Northwestern Medical Center (NMC) Medical Staff. The CMQO develops a strong partnership between our medical staff and administration through building relationships. The CMQO provides leadership, direction and coordination of Medical Staff priorities in alignment with the advancement of NMC's mission. The CMQO is responsible for the overall medical integrity of NMC's services, ensuring patients receive the highest standard of medical care. The CMQO ensures medical staff engagement and leadership in setting the strategic direction for quality. The CMQO oversees the Quality Department and plays a significant role in quality and utilization analysis, service indicator development, monitoring and improvements, pathway development across the care continuum, and working to improve physician practice patterns and improve physician relations.
