This is an exciting opportunity to join the leadership team of a well-respected, rapidly expanding consumer finance company. We are seeking the right candidate to be a strategic leader in this mission-critical initiative of transforming and building our centralized servicing operations. This will include building, developing and managing a centralized servicing call center, special loan processing, and third party servicing in support of our branch customers needing assistance. In this role you will manage the servicing team and communicate vision and strategic direction while improving processes and motivating the team to achieve the goals of the organization. Key job responsiblities are as follows:. Lead the strategic development and buildout of a centralized collections and customer service center for delinquent accounts in the branch network.. Development of effective end-to-end Collection Treatments, Contact Strategies, Recovery Strategies, Agency & Attorney Collection Strategies and practices including Segmentation, Voice and Non-Voice Communications.. Build a rigorous and disciplined collections operations oversight and governance process with heightened compliance and control management leveraging industry best practices.. Develop and execute on the policies & strategies related to the collections and servicing of a mixed consumer loan product through the use of both external agencies and an internal team of collections.. Effectively partner with the Business Heads and Senior Team to support critical business projects.. Enhance and establish Servicing Policy and ensure policy addresses/satisfies all regulatory and FDCPA requirements where applicable.. Manage and provide oversight for complex, regulatory sensitive areas such as Bankruptcy, agency work, Litigation, Complaints, C&D, SCRA, Repossession and strategy for customers working with debt settlement companies.. Build, motivate and lead both the internal team and external agencies in-order to maintain a highly productive environment.. Development, implementation and management of centralized performance standards so that the department expectations and goals are achieved.. Oversee vendor selection and relationships and provide escalation support on complex issues between the team, external vendors and customers to enhance efficiency and timeliness of solutions.. Work closely with central operations leadership, peer leadership, and advisory teams to establish and coordinate interdepartmental policies and procedures.. Provide insight and feedback to further enhance credit strategies and decisioning logic.. Qualifications. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management, Marketing, or a related field preferred.. 10+ years managerial experience in consumer lending or a related industry with demonstrated experience within retail branch lending environments preferred. This experience should include proven success in achieving business goals and strategies including the responsibilities listed above.. Experience developing and building out centralized customer service and loss mitigation operations for a large network of branches is highly desirable, as is experience leading other complex operations such as lending, member services, or retail operations.. Demonstrated experience in change management, including design and execution strategies that align with business objectives.. Ability to proactively attract top talent and then motivate, lead, and develop staff in accordance with our Core Values is a critical part of this position and requires a significant level of professionalism and trust. Motivating and influencing internal and external stakeholders is equally critical.. Exceptional communication and presentation skills. Ability to obtain cooperation and agreement on important outcomes via frequent and complex senior level dialogues, as well as a professional level of written communication skills are essential to this position..
