The FRS is looking to establish the System Cloud Center organization and identify several key team members. The System Cloud Center organization is a dedicated function that will ensure that the cloud strategy remains current, facilitates cloud governance, manages the System cloud registry and provides cloud consulting. The Cloud Center will serve as the hub in a hub-and-spoke Organizational Change Management model as we design, build and run foundational Cloud Services and infrastructure to allow System businesses to host their applications in a Cloud environment. In this new role, the Cloud Center AVP will provide leadership to the Reserve Banks in our collective journey to the cloud, ensuring that best practices are leveraged and that lessons learned are widely shared. You'll also lead a team of dedicated professionals to staff the cloud center.. Job Summary:. The Cloud Center AVP provides leadership to the Cloud Center team, focused on guiding the adoption of cloud technology that will enable the Federal Reserve System to effectively exploit cloud services to deliver world-class IT services and solutions that are responsive to business needs, adaptive to change, and essential to the Bank's mission. Provides leadership in areas such as cloud strategy, communications, training, organizational change management and cloud governance. Works with the Cloud implementation program to identify which functions will be part of the long-term organization and guides transition from program phase to steady state. Develops and executes staffing plan for the System Cloud Center, determining which roles should be matrixed and which should be direct reports within the permanent organizational construct. Plans and executes ongoing Cloud activities including strategy refresh, change management, workforce planning, and expansion of consulting services to meet evolving needs in accordance with System demands. Ensures ongoing accuracy of the national Cloud registry. Experience with people leadership and remote people leadership. Experience with the cloud, ideally in the context of the Federal Reserve System.
