Dont miss this exciting opportunity to join an industry leading Energy Services Company (ESCO) as they expand in the Mid-Atlantic. This exciting Regional Sales Director position is well suited for Senior Account Executives or current Sales Managers/Directors with a successful track record selling bundled energy solutions in the public sector, with a focus on state or local government and K-12. Selected candidate may live anywhere in the Mid-Atlantic area, with preference for Northern, VA, DC or Richmond. Compensation commensurate with experience in the salary range of $150,000-$175,000 plus management bonus. PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Manage the VA/MD Energy Solutions Account Executives to exceed sales/booking requirements Coach & motivate a sales team to reach their potential Maintain the integrity of the sales process Build account executive sales plans Hire and retain sales executives that exceed their personal sales plans Coach staff on the methodologies for performing research to qualify and develop their sales strategies Manage all technical and financial aspects of the sales process Maintain the accuracy of all Salesforce data Demonstrate the ability to work with a diverse set of business unit leaders, including but not limited to local General & Sales Managers, Area Vice Presidents, and all other stakeholders. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE: Bachelor degree in Marketing, Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or related field or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Thorough understanding of the performance contracting legislation within the assigned region 5+ years of history successfully managing a sales team - preferably within the assigned region. Proven employment record in managing a sales staff selling to the K-12/Education and Municipal vertical market is preferred. Must have strong written & oral communication skills, ability to effectively present to large audiences, and extensive financial modeling skills Ability to understand operating budgets and public finance Experience in structuring and securing public financing debt strategies in the public market space Company provides above average compensation that includes salary, bonus, generous car allowance and a comprehensive benefits package.
