Wells Fargo is seeking to fill a key role as Head of Co-brand Operations and Operational Excellence. The Head of Co-brand Operations and Operational Excellence will be responsible for working with internal partners and external partners to develop, manage and maintain the operational and capability platform within the Card and Retail Services (CRS) business structure to deliver on existing co-brand card relationships and future set of expected partnerships. This will include partnering with all functional support areas (i.e. risk, controls, technologies, servicing, fraud, disputes) to effectively manage and improve existing processes, deliver new business enhancements, resolve business issues and manage overall business risk related to the on-going running of the co-brand card business. The role will be asked to lead overall investment planning and project execution for the co-brand card business including management of the short and long term capability roadmap.. This role will be required to build and manage the relationship with the co-brand merchant partners to support the planning and execution of projects to improve the overall operational delivery and customer experience for the individual programs. The role will also be responsible for the quality control and self-assurance program related to the co-brand card business. This role will be a critical partner for and work closely with the Head of Relationship Management for each co-brand partner to ensure we can meet the changing needs of the partnerships and deliver a best in class customer and operational experience In addition, he/she will partner closely with the third party risk teams, business controls and compliance to support issue resolution, exam management and vendor contract requirements. This role will also work closely with Head of Co-brand to evaluate new business opportunities and will be a member of the overall co-brand leadership team responsible for growing the portfolio and creating a best in class co-brand business.. Specifically this position will focus on the following:. Oversee all things related to the day to day operational delivery of the co-brand card business including management of the operational team, building and maintaining a strong communication with all internal and external partner teams.. Lead all activities related to the preparation and implementation of new projects, initiatives and business enhancements related to existing co-brand programs.. Active member of the broader co-brand and CRS leadership team.. Oversee the Quality Control team and activities to ensure a comprehensive self-assurance program, continuous improvement of the customer experience, escalation and resolution of found issues and set up of a new program for future co-brand programs.. Required Qualifications. 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic planning. 6+ years of management experience in a planning environment. Other Desired Qualifications. BS/BA degree or higher. Experience developing partnerships and collaborating with other business and functional areas. Experience in the credit card industry including the implementation of co-brand programs. Strong preference for direct Wells Fargo credit card experience. Deep knowledge of the internal workings of the Wells Fargo systems, products and platforms. Understanding of quality control and assessment techniques, reporting and program development. Proven ability to work with internal partners to develop and build capabilities understanding of the credit card industry and specifically co-brand marketplace. Track record for process management and implementing complex projects across a multiple set of stakeholders. Proven experience working in collaborative and cross functional organization and building effective internal and external relationship management experience. Strong experience in managing and leading high performing and diverse teams. Location: Des Moines, IA; Charlotte, NC or other Wells Fargo locations.
